German banks are calling for 50 billion U.S. dollars of Lehman Brothers

FRANKFURT – A year after the bankruptcy of U.S. investment bank Lehman Brothers to raise the German banks, according to a press release entitled to 50 billion U.S. dollars from the bankruptcy estate. The sum is clear from statements of the servicer, as the “Handelsblatt” reported on Wednesday. The demands for the equivalent of 34 billion euros represent not only the German banks, but also the Association of German Banks (BdB) and the Bundesbank.
