From “the beginning of next year, measures of mobility in France Telecom no longer apply to persons who held the same post for at least three years, and not on employees to three years of retirement : Group CEO Didier Lombard said on Tuesday, asking also that the medicine is working systematically consulted during reorganizations.

Didier Lombard spoke amid strike. The motion to call for all unions in the company Tuesday was followed by 15% to 20% of staff, according to various sources. A new day of action is scheduled for Wednesday, as part of the inter-action day.

On Monday, the management of France Telecom announced the gel mobility measures until the end of the year. Union sources, we observe that the employees of France Telecom until now occupied the same position on average for 18 to 21 months.

“The mobility taking place from early next year will take place as before,” said Lombard, Tuesday during a speech to unions during a bargaining session on psychosocial risks.

It has announced the end of “unwanted mobility for people within three years of retirement. And pledged “to ensure that employees can benefit from a period of three years of stability at least on a post after a geographical or functional mobility except, of course, if the employee wants to move”.

Mobility measures are “a burden for some of our employees, they should no longer be imposed without a real choice being offered. I ask that at least two opportunities for development are proposed in case of reorganization or site closure, “he also said.

“L’individualisation ne signifie pas nécessairement la compétition à outrance entre les personnes, c’est aussi le respect de la particularité de chacun”, a par ailleurs reconnu M. Lombard. “In this spirit, it is essential that individual objectives” take into account the need for adaptation “progressive” when employees change jobs, “said Didier Lombard.

Finally, the CEO of France Telecom has requested that the occupational medicine “is systematically integrated upstream discussion draft reorganization CHSCT” (Committee of hygiene, safety and working conditions, Ed).

“It took so many crises, so many clashes, many mobilizations to achieve all this. Now he’ll have to be very vigilant on the application, said Tuesday the Associated Press spokesman of the GSC-UNSA Sebastian Crozier.

Monday, France Telecom announced the replacement of number two Louis-Pierre Wenes by Stephane Richard, former director of cabinet of the Minister of Economy Christine Lagarde.

Tuesday, during the question session at the government’s National Assembly, the Minister said three goals “very clear” had been set at France Telecom, faced with 24 suicides in 18 months by the unions: “The accompanying families, strengthening the “device to prevent suicide,” and the revival “today with the recasting of social relations in France Telecom.
