Swiss unemployment rate is growing
Zurich – The labor market situation in Switzerland has deteriorated slightly in September 2009. This was announced by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Seco) said Wednesday.
Thus, the Swiss unemployment rate rose to 3.9 percent, after it had lain in the previous month at 3.8 percent in the previous month at 2.4 percent.
Accordingly, end of September, 154,409 unemployed were registered, that is 3578 more than last month. Compared to the same month last year, unemployment rose by 58,429 persons.
